My role:

Project duration:
August 2022 to present
User research: summary
I used the data to understand the main user experience to list the interview questions and how users feel by opening this app. Most research questions were in action, while testing the users to use the product. It was challenging because each user had some difficulty understanding the problem and solve it. Most of the users faced difficulty in this process while listing and selling. This app should be able to improve the knowledge and help to sell with high customer satisfaction.
Personas

Competitive audit
The process can be challenging for users to complete the tasks. There will be solutions with education.
Key Insights
.
Ideation
I did a quick ideation exercise to come up with ideas for how to address the marketplace. My focus was specifically on User profile, and their engagement.
Digital wireframes
After ideating and drafting some paper wireframes I created the initial designs for the Art Market app. These designs focused on User’s personalized profile and how to manage their Store.
Low-fidelity prototype
To prepare for usability testing, I created a low-fidelity prototype that connected the user flow of ordering an item.

Mockups
Based on the insights from the usability studies, I applied design changes like providing a sliding section from the home screen to browse last posts that other users posted.
High-fidelity
prototype
The high-fidelity prototype followed the same user flow as the low-fidelity prototype, including design changes made after the usability study.

With the app designs completed, I started work on designing the responsive website. I used the Art Marketplace sitemap to guide the organizational structure of each screen’s design to ensure a cohesive and consistent experience across devices.
Responsive Design
The designs for screen size variation included mobile, tablet, and desktop. I optimized the designs to fit specific user needs of each device and screen size.

Next steps
Gooyni is a new app for Special needs adults to help them to sell their art works online and make profit. It offers to sell physical and digital art pieces and provide classes to help them to improve their skills in art. They can also build a friendship and communicate with other members. Anyone can complete a purchase as a guest and comment or review each account. Such a platform can provide them with opportunities to showcase their talent, earn income, and engage with a supportive community.

Project background: We are developing a groundbreaking app specifically designed for special needs adults, empowering them to sell their artworks and achieve financial success. In order to create an exceptional user experience, we aim to delve deep into the core aspects of their journey, including the process of listing products and facilitating real-world sales. Our objective is to gain valuable insights into the unique challenges they may encounter when navigating the listing and selling process with minimal reliance on complex user interfaces. By offering a comprehensive solution, our app aims to not only enhance users' knowledge but also elevate their selling abilities, resulting in heightened customer satisfaction and increased success rates.
Research goals: Determine if users can complete core tasks within the prototype of the Marketplace app.

Before usability study

After usability study

Add options for marketplace on every screen, help to draw users to the artworks.
Most users have limited skills and can't read, so Icons can helps users to reach each screen easier and faster.

Impact:
Users with limited skills used the app with excitement. they said that “the art market app helps bring caring about disable adults to a personal level in a way that’s easy and engaging.”
What I learned:
I learned that even though the problem I was trying to solve could change so many things, it helped me to go through each step of the design process with care and solve specific user needs. It helped me to find solutions that were both feasible and useful
A:
Add more educational resources for users to learn about the market and how to use it.
B:
Conduct research on how successful the app is in reaching the goal to educate special needs adults.
C:
Provide ability to users to get involved in the app and receive rewards who register.
Thank you for your time reviewing my work on the Art Market for Special Case Study!
